How to save money on your wedding invite stationary

Wedding stationary is a key part of your wedding day; without it you won’t have any guests at your wedding or you won’t know who is coming. Whilst it is important, one thing that you will quickly realise is that wedding stationary is expensive. This is particularly true for wedding invites.

To help to save you money and to keep your wedding on budget; we have put together our guide on how to save money for your wedding invite stationary.

Find the right printer

If you want to save money on your wedding invite stationary, it is a good idea to arrange to have your invites printed by a printer. Invite printing can be expensive to arrange, however, there are plenty of printers out there that will work with you to make sure that you not only have the perfect wedding invites, but also that you save money too.

Make them yourself

One of the most obvious ways to make sure that you save money on your wedding stationary is to make it yourself. This might save you money, but it can give you more to do and think about and if you are already busy with other parts of planning your big day (as well as other things going on in your life) then adding another thing to do on your list, well that isn’t going to be something that you want.

Keep them simple

Another way to save money on your wedding invite, is to keep them as simple as possible. The simpler they are then the easier they will be to make, which saves you money and time. They will also be easy to print, which means that if you do arrange for invite printing, then you are going to save money on this too.

Don’t worry about RSVP cards

The idea of an RSVP card is to have them with your invites and ask your guests to send them back to you to let you know whether or not they can come. Despite them being useful, they can add an extra cost onto the entire day, if you are not too worried about having them sent back to you, then you could always ask your guests to email you or text you instead of sending through a card.

Deliver them yourself

Not only does it cost to make your invites, but it also costs to post them too. Of course, in order to invite some of your far away guests, you are going to need to use the postal service; but, if you are happy to drive around for a couple of days, then you could always hand deliver your invites yourself, which will definitely save you money.

As you can see, there are plenty of ways that you can you still save yourself money on your wedding stationary, without having to worry that they will be low quality, or that you won’t have everything that you need.
